What aquarium plants will be planted in?
I like the look of live plants, fish bite best of my small cabinet. – They need some extra dirt or potting soil or can I just grow roots down on gravel or not.
Most plants do not need extra dirt, because most nutrients can be obtained directly From the water column. Very easy to light plants do not "grow" at all. Java Fern and Anubias can also be associated with rock or driftwood and rhizomes that should not be.
